Search problems in Lion (OS X 10.7)

Search isn't working right on our network shares with OSX 10.7 (Lion).  We're not the only one that have problems with it (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3194502)   The best answer I found was to use EasyFind to search instead of built in search.  You can find it here:  http://www.devontechnologies.com/products/freeware.html

If  the "Apply to enclosed items" button is grayed out on a mac (OSX) it is probably an ACL problem. To fix it – turn off ACLs on the troubled drive. sudo fsaclctl -p /Volumes/volumename -d
