Reset PRAM and NVRAM:  Hold down Command, Option, P and R at boot up (hold till you hear the startup sound for the second time.

Reset SMC: Unplug the power.  Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Release the power button.  Plug it back in and boot it up.

So far, everything is fine now.

I was editing an ad today that was mostly black with a gradient grey. I couldn't see ad! All I could see was my face reflected in the monitor. This is a problem with the new iMacs.

I found a website that sells matte stickers for your iMac: Photodon. I didn't order one, because it's $45 and today is the first time that I've had a problem seeing the screen. But I wanted to document the website in case I get annoyed in the future (or someone else gets annoyed).
