Microsoft has released a hotfix for Virtual PC 2007 w/SP1 that adds functionality. One of the things it ads is the ability to support higher resolution displays without letterbox-ing. This had been a thorn in my side because my home computer's native resolution, 1680×1050, was not supported. But no longer! The hotfix adds support for resolutions up to 2048×1920 in 32bit color.
